Kevin Schuller's Knowledge Base
The purpose of my Knowledge Base is to analyze, describe, and contrast the three major learning theories of Behaviorism, Cognitivism, and Social Learning. These learning theories are critical in informing applications of instructional design models. The following Knowledge Base is intended to provide a visualization of my understanding of all three theories, and how I will look to apply them to my future instructional design.

What is Learning?
Learning is a long-term change in mental representations or associations as a result of experience.

What is Instructional Design?
Instructional design is a systematic and reflective process of translating principles of learning and instruction into plans for instructional materials.
