Personal Goals

I left my hometown at the young age of nineteen and am currently a Soldier for life in transition.  I am proud of my service and have my values foundation because of my family and the United States Army.  Integrity, courage, and selfless service are the values I hold dear to my heart.

I believe in servant leadership, and it drives me every day to give back to others around me.  My daily personal interactions with others provide me the opportunity to approach my leadership presence as a servant first and place the needs of others above mine always.  I seek to always address the wants and desires of everyone around me as the top priority, with my leadership to be pursued secondarily.  I am always coaching, teaching, and mentoring as a servant leader to aim in encouraging others development and growth in any way possible.

My journey has provided me the self-awareness to know I have a passion for education.  I aim to utilize my strengths of Instructional Design, Faculty Mangement, Project Management, and Curriculum Development into a future career in the educational field.  The ability to challenge myself in Instructional design by critically applying solid learning theories in the design and development of effective and engaging training experiences or resources is very complex and challenging.  Being part of a team and working in complex environments is where I feel a sense of purpose in my career.  For this reason and as I transition from soldier to civilian, I am steadfast in my determination to becoming an elite instructional designer.
