Course Description:

The emphasis of this course is on learning and practicing the basic digital media design principles utilizing Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Camtasia, and WordPress to create a series of projects based on best practices in design, accessibility, usability, and instructional design principles. Topics include Design principles, Photoshop, Video editing, HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Web Design, and WordPress.
This course is designed to instruct students in Web site construction and design from beginning to end. Students will learn and practice basic and advance web design principles utilizing Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, WordPress, and other graphic application. Students will work on several small projects that will emphasize demonstration of skills. The goal is to emphasize more than just the skills associated with individual programs, but the integration of several programs into designing effective and attractive products.
